ABOUT US
BUSINESS CONCEPT

The Forest Company is a closed-ended investment company that integrates long-term capital appreciation, income generation, and meaningful social impact. We invest in forest plantations in regions with high biological growth rates, particularly Brazil and Colombia.
Our shareholder base includes institutional investors, family offices, and company management. To date, we have committed capital to six projects encompassing both greenfield developments and established plantations in these two countries.
We manage approximately 60,000 hectares of sustainable forest plantations and invest in projects that are, or will soon be, certified under reputable forest management schemes.
We do not acquire native forests for harvesting purposes.
The wood produced by The Forest Company’s projects supplies five main industrial segments: renewable energy production, wood-based panel manufacturing, the pulp and paper industry, the sawmilling sector for construction, crating and furniture, and biocarbon production for the pig iron and metal alloy industries.
